Carolina Marquez - CEO and Creative Director
Carolina Márquez is an award winning virtual reality and documentary filmmaker. She has years of experience directing, producing and filming documentaries covering various issues including immigration issues across southern Arizona, the refugee crisis in Hungary and HIV/AIDS treatment in southern India. Carolina co-founded Terrainial VR in 2016 after producing the award winning VR documentary — Life and Death at the Mexican Border. She is also teaching the Virtual Reality for Journalists course as an Associate Professor at ASU's Walter Cronkite School of journalism.
Retha Hill - Startup Consultant
Retha is a seasoned interactive content strategist, journalist and academic and entrepreneur. Her awards and recognition includes the Knight News Prototype 2015, Knight News Academic Grant 2012, Knight News Challenge 2010, and J-Lab Women Entrepreneurs Grant 2010. She has many years experience in content development in print, broadcast and emerging technology. Retha is an Innovative manager and mentor. She is currently the Executive Director of Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lab at ASU's Walter Cronkite School of journalism. Her specialties include: Virtual reality, news game development, entrepreneurship, innovation, mobile product development, content development, grant writing and new media instruction.
Chandler Longbons - Social Media Marketing
Chandler is the co-founder of Buzzly Media, a Phoenix-based digital marketing agency specializing in creating high-quality content, building brand awareness and driving website conversions. She has years of experience managing social media campaigns for businesses ranging from startups to multi-million dollar organizations, including Arizona State University, The Translational Genomics Research Institute, and many more. Chandler is passionate about helping companies create tailored plans to drive success and see returns in their digital marketing efforts.
